The purpose of the site is to provide an insight into the village and all the activities which go on in and around the parish including toddler groups, village parties and entertainment, quiz nights, how to book the pavilion for events, village clubs, church activities, cricket club, village news, local amenities, insights into Parish Council and local government activities and much more!

1. Moulsford New Pavilion Project - 30/04/09 - Good news! Good news! Good news!  Good news! - see Sport and Recreation section! 

2. Swan Upping dates in 2009 now out.  This year the annual Swan Upping activities will arrive in Moulsford in the late afternoon (~6pm) on Thursday 23rd July and then depart again at 9am on Friday 24th July 2009.  More details under "What's On"

3. Your Cricket Club needs you!!  There is a full fixture list for 2009 and the Club is keen to encourage new members for friendly sunday afternoon cricket.  For further information please contact Bryan Parkes (Club Chair) on 01865 858137.

4. Alternative Tuesday & Wednesday Clubs!   For the men it is Tuesday evening at the Beetle & Wedge for beers and entertaining chat (or getting drunk and talking nonsense!); ladies have Wednesday nights for the same with wine!

5. Friday socials at the Pavilion started on 1st May 2009!!  If you have a good idea, want to help run a particular event or want to join the social committee then please call Rosemary on 01491 651500.

6. Diary dates:  Moulsford Coffee Shop 10.30-12noon at the Pavilion, 11th March, 8th April, 13th May, 10th June.

7.  New and simpler Pavilion hire rates are effective from 30th July 2007 - no change in 2008 or so far in 2009!! -and discounts of 50% are applicable to village residents making a standard booking of up to 4 hours or more!!  Prices last increased on 1st February 2005.  See "Community Info" for more details!
